Alchemysta Music is a small German record label that publishes music by artists who do not exist. It is run by one person.

What the artists are

Lev Marigold, Mercy Marlow and Phenix Fire are characters, in the same way that a novel’s narrator is a character. They have a voice, a mood and a record. They do not have a body, a passport or an opinion. Nothing about them is modelled on a real musician, and no real singer’s voice was cloned to make them sound the way they do.

What is written and what is generated

The lyrics are written by hand, line by line, by Emanuel Lichter. That is the part with an author. The music and the singing are generated with MiniMax Music. The cover artwork is generated with Imagen 4; where a release used a different model, its release page says so. Mastering, editing and the choice of what gets released are done by hand — every track on this site was measured and mastered to about −14 LUFS integrated with a true peak under −1 dBTP, and the measured values are printed on every track page.

Why we say all of this

Partly because Article 50 of the EU AI Act has applied since 2 August 2026 and asks for it. Mostly because a label that hides how its records are made is not interesting. The full breakdown is on the AI transparency page.

The rhythm

Releases come one track at a time, usually one a day while a record is running. Five albums are finished: SLOW GOLD (reggae, Lev Marigold), EVENING PRACTICE (soul, Mercy Marlow), MORNING GOLD (reggae, Lev Marigold), STEADY GOLD (reggae, Lev Marigold) and ASCHE ZU GOLD (conscious hip-hop, Phenix Fire). Everything is published on the YouTube channel first and lands here afterwards.
